COURSE TOUR - 9 Holes

Hole One

Par 5

This long, dogleg right par five requires accuracy off the tee as a tee shot that is not shaped will run through the fairway to a pond. Laying up to your favourite yardage for your third shot gives you a realistic chance for birdie. Club selection is crucial as this green is heavily sloped from back to front and a pond is located just over the green.

Hole Two

Par 3

Our signature hole, this par three over water requires proper club selection to a shallow, kidney shaped green. We hope you enjoy the challenge.

Hole Three

Par 4

A long, straight par four, this hole requires both distance and accuracy off the tee. Favouring the right side of the fairway off the tee will allow your golf ball to “run out”. Should you miss the fairway, laying up to 100 yards would be the prudent play as a creek crosses the fairway and will collect any less than solid shot. Leaving your second or third shot under the hole will leave the easier putt as this green is well sloped from back to front.

Hole Four

Par 4/5

Probably the toughest par four at Flamborough Hills, this long par four places a premium on both distance  and direction. The green is well guarded on the right by a large Oak tree and sloped significantly from back to  front that requires you to take it into consideration when approaching.

Hole Five

Par 3

This par three, from an elevated tee, requires you to select the proper club. The bunker in the back is strategically placed as the green runs from front to back and collects any tee shot that is carried too far.

Hole Six

Par 4

A long, tree-lined par four from an elevated tee deck that doglegs slightly to the left as you approach the green, requires both distance and accuracy off the tee. Placing your tee shot on the right side of the fairway will leave you better access to the green, which is protected by a bunker in both the front left and back right of the green.

Hole Seven

Par 4/5

Another great, risk/reward short par four, this hole places a premium on accuracy off the tee. An aggressive tee shot will leave a short second to a green that slopes heavily from front to back. Laying up off the tee leaves a blind second shot from an uphill lie.

Hole Eight

Par 5

A long, tree lined par four from an elevated tee deck that doglegs slightly to the left as you approach the green, requires both distance and accuracy off the tee. Placing your tee shot on the right side of the fairway will leave you better access to the green, which is protected by a bunker in both the front left and back right of the green

Hole Nine

Par 4

Another terrific, short par four, laying up to 100 yards from the green off the tee gives you a flat lie for your second shot and a realistic chance for birdie. Club selection and distance control, however, are crucial as the false front will repel any shot that is short and leave a delicate chip/pitch.
